Anthias on the way

After weeks of thinking, I finally clicked the submit order button and so my anthias should be on their way.
My only concern is that FedEx will get the right address this time. I have been ordering stuff from Dr.FosterSmith for years but since I moved into my new residence, orders have been arriving a week later than usual and came with big block letters "WRONG ADDRESS" on the box.
Order Number: A2598953
When should I begin to panic and start calling FedEx?
Are there any So Cal experiences out there as to when FedEx arrives with your precious cargo?

All animals arrived safe and sound an hour ahead of the time projected. They are acclimating right now. Whoo-hoo!

There was one anthias that kept attacking my net after I used it to get her into the tank. Vicious little thing!
Then all of them darted for the rocks and are hiding. I have a feeling I won't see them again for the rest of the week.

Nevermind, everyone except the big male is swimming around.
And when I mean big, I mean the male anthias they sent me is enormous! I cannot believe he is able to hide himself.
OMG! I'm overjoyed.

haitwun,

We are glad to hear the anthias have made such an easy transition to your aquarium. These beautiful fish may hide while they are getting used to their new home, but once adjusted, they will be great, active additions. Please keep us informed as to their progress and let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Day 1: Offered Tetra flakes, Formula Two pellets, frozen brine shrimp and frozen mysis. Nobody was interested, will try again tomorrow. The male poked his head out of the rocks for a second and retreated again. Everyone else is very active.

Haitwun,

Thank you for keeping us updated on the condition of your fish. To help entice the Anthias to eat, you may wish to consider soaking the food in a garlic-based supplement such as Garlic Xtreme or Garlic Guard. These supplements not only help encourage eating, but will also improve fish immune systems. We also recommend continuing to offer the frozen Brine and Mysis shrimp, as these foods were given to the Anthias at our facility. If we can be of additional assistance, please feel free to let us know.

Lyretail Anthias (Pseudanthias squamipinnis). 1 male, 3 females.

Day 2: Still not eating. Will look into some garlic-based soaking agents.

Day 5: The 3 female anthias finally ate today. The only one still not eating is the male because he will not leave his hidey hole. Thus far he comes out for 2 seconds at a time and never when I am standing over the tank, he is very shy. Any ideas on how to entice him to come out more?

Haitwun,

Thank you for keeping us informed on the progress of your Anthias. It is likely that the male Anthias is eating natural foods in your aquarium or eating the prepared foods when you are away from the aquarium. We recommend keeping the lighting low in the aquarium for now; it may take some time for the male Anthias to become comfortable enough to swim out in the open. Please keep us informed on the progress of the male Anthias and let us know if we can be of any assistance.

First I will say this: Your customer service is incredible and I will definitely go back to Live Aquaria for all my aquarium needs.

Day 6: Anthias ate VORACIOUSLY this morning. They gorged themselves so much that they only nibbled on a few pieces in the afternoon feeding. Male anthias is out more and more each day but I have not personally witnessed him eating anything. I hope you are right and he is eating scraps or something. Will post again if there are any changes.

Thank you once again!

Day 8: Male anthias joined the feeding frenzy. Woo-hoo! Also, I got a percula and gramma from live aquaria that were both eating as soon as they arrived. All is well.
