Anthias Question

I posted this a couple of days ago on the Reef Discussion board, but didn't get much of a response, so I figured I'd run it by the experts.

I'm looking to add a few more fish, looking for a few smaller fish rather than a single large fish.

I'd like to add a trio of Anthias of some sort.

I have a 75g reef with a Tomato/ Cinnamon pair, a Sixline Wrasse, and a Bi-color Blenny.

My concern is that the clowns are can be pretty nasty, and I've read/ been told that Anthias don't do well with aggressive fish.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I bet they'd do ok. They can be a bit secretive at first, but after a couple days they're out and about and not much bothers them. They like a lot of hiding spots to feel secure, and will sleep inside your rockwork like most fish.

One thing to keep in mind with Anthias is that they like/require frequent feedings. This depends on the species to some extent, but I have a feeling they'll all do better with small frequent feedings throughout the day. They're one of those fish that spends a great deal of it's time swimming around the reef patrolling the currents for food - and doing this takes up a good amount of energy that they need to recoop.

I'd look into Bartlett's Anthias (Pseudanthias bartlettorum) or Dispar Anthias (Pseudanthias dispar) or something along those lines. Both of these grow to around 3 to 4 inches, and both of them are probably able to hold their own in a small group.

Then again.. tomato clown's can also be little terrors..

I was thinking Dispar or Ignitus.

And yes, the clowns are evil, evil fish.

Bartletts are easier. That wrasse might be a jerk to them too though.
