Anthias question

Deeeetroit Basketball!
Do they really need a 125g? That's what Live Aquaria suggests. And I'd love to have one in my 75g.

My stocking list:

Occellaris Clown
Hector's Goby
Court Jester Goby
Six Line Wrasse
Yellow Clown Goby

I think it depends on the kind of Anthias. For example, Live Aquaria recommends at least a 70 gallon for the Bartlett's. They are smaller and one of the more hardy Anthias, so I believe they are better able to be kept as a single rather than committing to an entire harem.

I've had the lyertail before. They will use every inch of a 125 as they are very active, and can get a little mean when cramped. It was war in my 55 gallon QT tank for 30 days...

Also: Make sure you get one that is an established male. Females that are turning into males can be real brown-eyes during the transition...

As mentioned above. Depends on the type of anthias...

Well considering we have a lyretail in the store I work at that close to 8 inches...Id say yea you should have a 125 for a lyretail
