Are you looking for a species name? Or show name?

For a species I would guess it to be Acropora nasuta.

IMO proper shows names would have lineage, meaning it is a frag that originated from somewhere/ someone and has known husbandry. Did you get linage with this from the person you got it from? Or were they just like " It kinda looks like so and so coral"? The lineage would mean it is real, guessing would be making an imposter.

Well it sounds like one of those is not the real deal then.

To me it "looks like" (not saying it is) ALT Shades of Fall Acropora. If it didn't come with the lineage for that coral then calling it that would be dishonest if you were to sell or trade it as such. Just my 2cent.

What is the name of the other Acro you have?

i have Atl shades of fall, close but not the same. he said it was northwoods strawberry shortcake, i know mine is the real deal because i aquired it from live aquaria divers den, he had the colony under 400w 20k xm halides, about 4 inches under the water about 15" total, and in very high flow. mine however is under radion pros mid way in a 20 inch deep tank lights around 10" off the water, with medium flow ( it had nearly the same colors with 250w 14k) , his is very light green base pink tips and white polyps, mine has a more intence green base, almost dark red tips and lite pink polyps. thats the only reason im doubting this coral, i no mine is real. maybe it is to soon to tell as i said its only been 3 weeks.

mine under gen 2 radions in acclimation cycle ( it browned out when i switched to led's i cant get a clear shot of it now with the iphone but this was about 14 months ago

I have never heard of the Northwoods SS, but I guess it is possible. I guess the question really is how much do you trust what you where getting has legitimate lineage to DFS's Northwoods Strawberry Shortcake? You could always start new lineage if you are not sure. If you think it could be an imposter then it doesn't matter what the name is. Personally i would go back to figure out the species at this point to avoid any further confusion.

Yes the Strawberry Shortcakes are usually Acropora microclados. But Acropora Microclados are not always Strawberry Shortcake Acroporas.
