Any 2nd floor room divider tanks?

My tank is currently downstairs but the kid has moved back in and has taken over that room

We have an older 2 story house and wifey said I could move the tank upatairs if I could take down the wall dividing our dining room and living room and make the tank the divider (I do love her ) BUT what support would I need to put under the tank so the house wouldn't collapse? When I re-did the downstairs I made it into one large room, I took out the load bearing wall and put in a 14 inch by 2 inch laminate beam but I question if that is enough.

The tank is a 220G and I like to have at least another 75G under the tank.

SO...is it possible? What would I need for support? Or am I ****in in a fan it's such a bad idea? Anyone have a tank that large upstairs?

Hire a structural engineer to inspect your house and make recommendations. Who knows? It may not be as bad a situation as you fear. Then again, it may be worse.

My house fell down cause some guy on some Internet forum told me this would be ok.. He even said he wasn't an engineer but did this kind of stuff all the time and his brother is in construction and also said it was fine....

Sounds bad now? Wait till it's true.

You might be ok depending on how your floor joists run, but you will need a structural engineer to sign off on that. I had one out for my 300G in the kitchen, and luckily did not need to make any modifications.
