Any advice? Clown issue

So this week my clown fish decided he no longer wants to eat & is staying close to the top of the water in the tank. The tank is 5+ years old & he was one of the first fish added. He's always been a good eater & nothing has changed in the tank lately. He stopped hosting his nem and stopped eating. I tested the water and nothing has changed there; 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate, ph 8.6. He has no signs of distress or damage. He isn't gasping for air or breathing weird.

Nothing.

thoughts?

What type food are you feeding it? Size wise too.

Is it possible that something large has been digested?

Doubt it. I've fed the same food for years. 2 kinds of small pellets from Petsmart (Omega one marine & algae), algae flakes, frozen mysis, and another frozen meat combo.

I had a problem with one of my clowns. His colours faded, wouldn't eat and kept at the top of the tank. Problem was my phosphate level was sky high. Unfortunately lost him before finding the problem

Just saw your post & checked, looks to be between 0 and .1.

He's still alive, colors are fine, swimming towards the top of the water, hosting every once in a while but still won't eat.

Not sure how much longer he can last. I've literally tried to feed him everything.

fish can go several day o weeks (depending on how fat it is) without eating. He could just be having a intestinal problem and just not feeling well.

Post a video and see. Try to see the feces or poop, to see if there is anything unusual.

Maybe its eating something else in the tank?
