I just bought a G9 but i have to figure out how to get my pics down to the 50k size to post? I'm still reading....
Love the camera. Plan to buy an under water Ike housing for it.

Here are some pics. I'm still getting used to it. The color is a bit off as i still can not calibrate the WB for my tank. Though the G9 has a preset WB mode for aquarium.

the G9 is BAD AZZ.

If I had the money at the time I would have gotten it instead of my A720 IS.

Thank you for your kind comments. Those pictures were over exposure and the color was off. I need to practice more.

does are some great pictures! where the corals in front of the tank? can you take just as good pictures if you had to focus near the back of the tank trough the glass at an angle?

G9 has a remote flash control right? I think this might be my next camera.

Got my G9 today! WOO HOO! Found out I still suck at taking pictures! but I'm going to be doing some reading on how to improve on that now that I have a camera that's worth it.

Can one of you guys tell me how to get the camera in RAW mode? I followed the directions in the book but it doesn't even show up.

Where you choose the dif. mega pixel settings all the way to the right is supposed to be widescreen then raw but mine stops at the widescreen function and doesn't even show the raw to select.

Sorry for the late reply, here is a full shot of my clam. As for the RAW setting, you should find the RAW when you press Func. Set then scroll all the way down then scroll all the way to the right. By now, you probably found it.


Just finished reading your post again. Make sure you have a memory card with enough space for RAW, otherwise it wont give you the option.

I figured out how to get it into raw mode. I assume you can only do it in manual mode and not auto?
