I agree they seem diatoms but I could see some red velvet areas on some of the flat rocks (I might be wrong and could be just coralline).
If these are cyano you should see them partially reducing in size when lights are on and easily removable with your fingers (unfortunately this is temporary as they grow back immediately). I would increase the flow, especially in those areas and could try to use hydrogen peroxide. I think it was 30% h2o2 1ml every 10lt but I might be wrong, can someone comment about it?
If these are diatoms, h2o2 will not help, increase flow and cleaning animals. Did you change light or light bulbs recently? Did you increase the light exposure?
