any cool ideas for a 12 nanocube.

What's the big deal??? The cost???....I'm thinking about building the tank (Coral and Critters) around the idea of eventuaally getting a pair of Dwarf Seahorses.
From the little research I've done, I know that feeding is kind of a pain...just feed before work and when you get home....I hear that they also don't have very good digestive systems...so they produce a lot of waste....I really think it depends on the specimen that you buy.

hydriods is the big deal, that and anything else that might sting the ponies. Your sand and rock basically need to be "dry" when you start your system, or you can treat it with panacur. Once you treat the system, you probally will never be able to keep corals or inverts. The BBS can easily introduce hydriods. Plus you have to have almost no flow at all for the dwarfs---so that limits you even more!!!! I hate to refer you to another site, but have you looked at seahorse.org ??? they have a dwarf forum, read it---and when you are done read it again!! Dwarfs are alot harder than most people first think!!

Dwarfs also most often require live food, making them very hard to feed/ get enough nutrients and vitamins.

and a pair is not enough in a 12g. tank ... you will need alot.. b.c. you have to have ALOT of Live Baby Brine Shrimp...i mean the tank will look like a snow storm... and then you have to have alot to eat all that.. but not to much.. i think Dwarf Seahorses are really to much of a PITA when if you upgrade your tank a little.. you could keep the easier, larger SH's .. JMO though.. some people cant get enough of the little guys....
WOW!!! So that's the big deal....thanks man!!...I'm way too lazy to do real research...but that already sounds like way more work than I am into.
Hey IKU,.....Aren't boxers the coolest.....You have to get out the flashlight or pin light.....They are pretty nocturnal....and until they move they are very camoflaghed....I think I still have one in my 90....Lots of big fish though.....I just ordered some Atlantic porcelaine crabs....now those are really cool....Blue and yellow...very hardy and peaceful
