Any CPR users want to help troubleshoot?

I am going to order a lifereef tomorrow, but in the meantime my cpr overflow won't siphon. The problem seems to be the aqualifter pump. It won't even draw water with the tube directly in the tank. It's only a few months old, and it's my second one. Has anyone experience a similar failure? Any ideas are welcome!

Good move getting the Lifereef. You are going from one end of the reliability scale to the other. Sounds like the aqualifter is clogged. You can try cleaning it.
