Since the used system came with a Hydros X3 and XP8, I’m thinking about going Hydros and selling the Apex components.

Anyone using Hydros? I find figuring out what I want very confusing.

My main lighting 6 Euroquatics have their own programming so I won’t need to control them. But, I’ll be using 2-3 light bars I’ll want to control.

Powerheads will be Jebaos so I won’t need to control them.

I’ll want to monitor pH and control temperature.

Likely will want to have the main pump and skimmer easily turned off by the Hydros app.

Can I have a second pH monitor/control for a Ca reactor with the X3 and XP8 or do I need to add another module for that?

I will likely want a overflow/water in the floor sensor too.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hydros seems like a great choice for your setup. You can definitely monitor pH and control temperature with the X3 and XP8. For the second pH monitor/control for your Ca reactor, you’ll likely need an additional module. As for the overflow/water floor sensor, Hydros can handle that as well.
