Any Discus Lovers???

Just wondering if any members have any or know anyone that sales them? I had 22 in a 125gal tank and smallest one was less than 6"

I think there is a shop off of Thomas and around 34th street that has them. I don't know if they are still there. It's been a while since I was last in there. It's in the back behind a house. I do remember them having a pretty good selection of freshwater fish. I'm sure someone here knows the store I'm speaking of.

Ocean Floor. Yes they have discus and a large freshwater section.

I love discus fish! I have done lots of planted tanks in the past. I am planning a 75-125gal discus live plant tank once I buy my house in Florida. Have you checked the discus forums. I know there are a lot of breeders out there that sell them and have some of the crazy strains too! I know there are stores (LFS) on the east coast that breed them and cross strain them

I had several Turquoise Discus in 1992, but unfortunately lost them all to a stuck thermostat on a 250w heater; also lost my prized Blue Eyed Pleco! Haven't had discus since. Some day I'm sure I will return to Discus keeping, along with an Arowana tank!

I have seen some decent Discus at The Pet Shop, but had a small selection last week when I was there. I would probably order online for a much better selection than could be found locally from the LFS. But, like Lostmyz said, hook up with the local discus people and you will find some local breeders I'm sure.

There's a Discus breeder out by me in the San Tan Valley (far East Valley) that has quite a few different types. Their webpage is www.spiritsoftheamazon.com.
