Any downside to fighting conchs?

As the title says, does anyone know downsides to fighting conchs? I was considering adding some (how many??) to a 240 gallon and 350 gallon reef tank.

I have three in my 240 and have had no problems with them. I could get by with two and the sand would still be clean. Any more than three and at least one would starve to death.

I've also got 3 in my 180 so far 2 years. Mine will eat new life spectrum pellets. They are like mini bulldozers pushing smaller frags out of there way but i haven't had any damage done.

They're safe and they're great...mine even ate some cyano. They won't really 'fight' anything in your tank...maybe each other if you have a few...other than that, they're great at cleaning the tank and have really nice shells!
