I want to have a circuit installed just for my tank. My plan was to use an AFCI breaker with GFCI outlets. I was told today you can't use both on the same circuit. Is this true?
I'm an electrician and I have both of my circuits on arc fault breakers and Gfi's at the tank and thay both work as they should. My arc fault worked once while I was changing a bulb and got against the light fixture housing and I just splashed water on my one receptacle which is also Gfi protected the other day and it tripped the gfi.
