I would like to know if anyone have experience for knowledge with the following wrasse. I am upgrading to a 40br and am planning on keeping 2 of these with my pair of perc clowns and firefish.

Halichoeres trispilus or Halichoeres chrysus

Paracheilinus carpenteri

There will be plenty of rockwork for them to hide, 2' sand bed, sps, lps, zoas, clams, and inverts in the tank as well. I would like to have one of the first 2 b/c of there colors and them eatting pryamidalid snails, flatworms, an tubeworms. The carpenter ust looks nice.

My main question is if the wrase would get along with each other and the corals and inverts (mainly my clams)

Thanks in advance

I don't have the last 2 but I have the yellow coris, with a divided leapard, black and white leapard, and a radiant wrasse and they all do well together.

H. chrysus is a great little reef-safe pest eater with more attractive colors (imo) and a better personality than a sixline wrasse. However, as they mature, they may pose a threat to shrimps.
