Any good macro algae for main tank?

I have a 30g FOWLR right now. I do not have a sump or fuge. Is there any macro algae that I can put in the main tank. I have 3x39 HO T5 lights and a AquaC Remora.

i don't have a sump either but in the right placement, chaeto doesn't look too bad in the main tank... another macro algae i have in my tank is codium... it is pretty but it's not as efficient at absorbing nutrients compared to chaeto... this is the only reason why i still have the chaeto...

Try these or red grape. They look nice and won't take over your tank like other stuff..

I also collect codium in NY out on the east end of Long Island. I collected some today. It does fairly well and looks nice.

You can see some of it in here

Most of the calcerous macroalgae are going to be just fine: Halimeda (cactus algae), Penicillus (shaving brush), Udotea (mermaid's fan) all come to mind.

If you can find em, sargassum, and codium are nice. If you have a decent sand bed then you could try some of the calcearous greens like shaving brush, or mermaids fan. Reds are really nice but can be a little tempermental.

I have halymenia (burning bush) and ochetodes (blue ball algae) in my seahorse tank, along with the red grape caulerpa. Very beautiful and great for nutrient uptake.
