Hey everyone,
Wow its been a long time while since ive been on here. I was wondering if anyone knows a good place that makes custom aquariums that they can recommend. I have what I think is a 40-45 gal flat back hex that I got from way back in my days working for Aquarium Designs in Patton Creek and it sprung a leak so I had to totally put it down. After several months Im getting the itch to comming back into this wonderful (and addicting haha) hobby. But instead of having someone or myself reseal the tank I want to go and get a new one with bells and whistles. Thank you for your time in reading this I hope to hear some feedback soon :).

I know you're probably looking for something local, but I have a suggestion if you're willing to venture outside of our state borders.

I had to have a custom tank because of where I am placing it, so I found the most highly recommended companies on this forum and requested quotes. Specifically, Miracles, Reef Savvy and Coast to Coast. Coast to Coast was the most expensive by far. The other two were pretty close, but Miracles was the least expensive, even shipping from Canada! (I was really surprised.) The wait time from Miracles was shorter, and I have seen about as many great reviews about them as Reef Savvy. Needless to say, I went with Miracles and expect my tank to arrive this week. Correspondence can be a bit slow, particularly once you pay your deposit, but I feel like it will be worth it in the end.

Just an extra note in case you consider Miracles: The downside is that they ship to a depot in Bham and you have to go pick it up :( It would really be nice if they would arrange to deliver to homes, but I guess that's part of the savings.
