Any idea if these are parasites??

I've had a couple of fish in mt QT for a little over 2 weeks now, and today I noticed what looks like little white worms on the glass. They aren't copepods, because i can tell which ones they are when they skitter across the glass. These things just sort of sit there, and every now and then I can sort of tell one moves a little, and it looks like a worm. I had a clown die in the qt early on, and he had white stringy poops which I believe are a sign of internal parasites. Both fish are acing fine, eating well, and have normal poops.
Any ideas if I should be concerned or dose some prazi-pro?

Extremely difficult to tell, but I would venture to say flatworms. And from the color, nothing to worry about. Although I do have many various pods in my fuge and several look like those fuzzy white specs. :D

right on the money about the white stringy poop, in case you were not aware of this fact, most wild caught fish, clowns in particular will have some internal parasites, nothing to really worry about in the wild, but in our tanks, could be devestating. This is another reason why QT is so imporatant and why finding captive raised/bred specimens as often as possible

They aren't parasites if they're on the glass like that. I agree that they might be flatworms. I would ignore them, in any case.

I'd go with worms. Flatworms or small dorvilleid polychaetes. Harmless grazers at that size, the flatworms might take micro zooplankton; in turn they're food for something else.
