Any idea on how to fix this?

My Crystal Dynamic tank is about 4 years old in couple months. I been shutting it down for last few months for restart and I experienced this issue. The black paint or cover on the back of the tank start to come of and leave bubble. Anyone know how to fix it? Or best way to fix it? TIA

Is that inside the tank or outside? If it's outside you can just peel it all off and apply new black vinyl.

Or you can remove the old film, clean the surface with alcohol, then roll on latex paint. My CD tank looks like it was painted.

I've used vinyl film in the past, and unless you're experienced with it, it's not the easiest to apply cleanly, especially since it's a large surface. You can also find it on Amazon, though if your tank is taller than 24" it may be hard to find.

My tank is 24” tall. The weird part is a couple place where it came off just like paint when I remove the double side tape that I use for holding the Vortex.

Turn out it paint when I tried to scrap it of last night. I scrap of those bubble area and will paint that section. Thx
