Any idea what this is, coral?

Hello,

For a couple of weeks I've noticed about 3 heads or polyps of whatever this is. It arrived on the rock with my neon green toadstool already attached. Each of these are about 3/8" in size but next to one another. They stay open all day and night, have a dark greenish tint and have slight movement in my current but appear to be mostly rigid. I thought maybe there were duncan. They're a bit larger than when they arrived but I haven't a clue.

Thanks,
Bob

Hard to tell. My first guess would be clove polyps. If they have a hard base to them, I would say a distant guess would be galaxia. Nice hitchhiker!!!

This "identify the majano" game is getting harder and harder for me. Can anyone comment on what they see that makes these NOT majano?

I've never seen a majano with a stripe running from the center up each tentacle to the tips.

the green and the rest of the colors. i can also see what i think is a mat. and thats what their growing from

con999 Thanks also. So, I don't see a "mat" but I don't know what I'm looking for. Are you saying a majano would have a single foot like a nem, where these guys have something more interconnected?
