I've had this torch coral for about a month now, and it's looked about the same since I've bought it. I recently had a small issue with some hair algae which I felt was hanging a little too close to the corals. Today I took most of the rocks/LPS out of the tank and briefly scrubbed the areas with the hair algae with a new toothbrush, being sure to avoid the coral's tissue. Just now as I checked the progress, I noticed this thin sheet of what looked like the tissue of the torch coral (that would normally cover the stalk) however, I could see it physically moving (and pretty quick!), and it's not attached to any of the buds. The coloration is exactly the same as the tissue around the tentacles, so I'm not really sure what it is (there's no signs that it's another creature, as there are no antennae or mouths from what I can see). What do you guys think?
