Any idea what this is?

The first pic is the frag given to me for free while purchasing other coral. I didn't know what it was but I figured I'd give it a shot. It went from a greyish base to a deep purple. It has bright green polyps. Sorry for the bad pics. Thanks for any help

First is a true montipora undata and the second is very small to tell but it is growing like a tricolor valida

Thanks. I guess I should have mentioned that both pics are of the same frag. First shot is day 1 and second shot is maybe 5 months later. It didn't grow much for the first 3 months but has spruced up the last 2.
