Any ideas for covering overflows?

I'm going to be setting up my 120 this weekend and it will have an open top underneath a tall canopy. I have a plan for covering up the back with a stiff mesh to keep he fish from jumping out the back, but I'm still wondering how to cover the overflows to keep the fish out of em.

I've thought about using some sort of screening material glued to it to keep them out.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Covering just the overflows usually end up with fish dying. If a fish jumps on to a covered overflow it usually cant get back into water. Try covering the tank in a fine mesh net. This will keep the fish in the tank.
