Anthony, boy Ive never seen that on a fish.

WHen I first read white I was thinking ich -- but no way its that. Im very curious what you are able to find out, and how to treat it. I have several yellow watchmen myself -- some of my favorite fish. Id like to know what they may be susceptible to.

If not fungal, it looks like cuts. Could there possibly be an aggressor in the tank? What is the stocking list? Have you recently introduced any new corals or livestock that could have introduced something into the tank?

There aren't bristles hanging out of it is there? I thought I had some kind of ich a few times on some fish until I realized they were from my bristle worms lol. Fish must have gotten to close.

He didnt make it the night, it sucks he was one of my favorite. Just hope that he is the only one. Had him for like a year. Yeah no new corals the only new fish are two tiny damsels that put together are only half of his body length. I had lots of worms but they are not that big and my boxer shrimp takes care of them.

Damsels are highly aggressive from what I've read and could possibly be the cause of his death.

I have watched them closely and if anything he would have killed them. He did not like anyone near his hole or his shrimp. He was quite the little protector lol it was comical to watch.
