What do you want to know? I had one that was about 7" until I lost it in a tank crash. Fairly mellow as far as a wrasse. Will eat all inverts. Very cool fish overall.
I dont have a tripletail maori wrasse , but do have a closely related 8 in red-breasted maori wrasse, that i keep in my heavily stocked 180 fowlr. Very mild fish, my tangs/angles and puffer dont mess w/ him and he doesent mess w/ them.

same experience as well. I have the red-breasted, which is similiar, and he leaves everyone alone in my FOWLR..
he is a big eater, so be prepared.
he is friendly and non-aggressive. Has not tried to bully any fish established in there, and will not harass any newcomers, even small ones added later one:fish2:
I love the maori wrasses, but haven't purchased one due to fear that it will inhale its tankmates. I have a peaceful 180 with mostly smaller fish such as OSFF, cherub angel (which everyone says is aggressive, but has been very mellow) and a few anthias.
Your concerns are valid. Maori's shouldn't be housed with 1-2" fish. I think if they can fit them in their mouth they would most likely eat them... I have not observed this first hand but I've seen them eat some fairly large pieces of shrimp.
