Any interest in Mangrove plants ??? Monti's out there ?

I am looking for people that would be interested in purchasing some mangrove plants, have one place in Flordia or of ebay Ebay is REAL cheap but i just dont know if i should from there????
One place Mangrove is 6$ a plant
or ebay 7Mangrove for like 9$$ ?

Any way if any body has any thoughts or ideas iam looking to purchase about 5-8 for my self and any body else that would want a few??

will be able to recieve the package, but may not make it to next months meeting, so some may have to pick up at my house...

looking for any montiporia Cap(blue, green, orange and any ohter really, Digata, same as othere all colors...)?? would like to trade a mangrove or a ?? any thing or even cash? or swap?

I've had mangroves int eh past. biggest problem with them is they grow slow, and can be difficult to get to root.
If they can guarontee you that teh mangroves are "fresh" , then you have a chance of growing them. You also need a good amount of nutrients inyour water... if you have a pristine tank, they will suffer.

Doesn't our newest sponsor MarineFlora have mangroves? Worth a look. Also could snap a piece of digitata I have here but not sure about next meeting yet. Plan on being at Linda's for that one though

what is the color on the digata?

i use to take blue slate(reefsafe), drill holes with a masonary drill bit and plant trays of digatas, looked nice and lush, always felt they were a hard coral but soft to break...alot...i use to have the green ones and the monti Cap green too all super fast growers for me in the past...

My 2 in my sump(feed them with the decaying material in the bottom of my sump the sludge, i use a turkey baster and put it in their individual buckets....right on top.... worked for me as a fertilizer...

i prefer the Red Mangrove or Black mangrove heard the white and the other species are a little hard to grow ??? dont really know only had the 2 for 5 yrs or so..
