Any News on the DALI expansion

Just checking to see if there are any updates with the new expansion that will allow for use with DALI ballasts. Will this require the EVG-AP-2F interfaces, or will it provide its own way of shutting down the ballasts. What is the projected price of this expansion?

yes, prototype is still lying here on my desk - just next to the dimmable powerbar

Since you have the prototype, maybe you can answer this question. Will one need the EVG-AP-2F interfaces to run this? I ask because I'm moving from a 48" setup to a 36" setup. I'm going to be selling my dimmable ballasts and was wondering if I should sell the interfaces or keep them as I plan to buy the Dali interface when it is available in order to run 36" T5s.

I am sure there will be a new interface as the signal of dali is digital not linear analogue

no, the DALI ballast are conencted directly

in opposite to the 1-10V-ballasts the DALi-ballasts have a built-in shut-off

Not meaning to thread jack but i run 2 Icecap 430's with 2 36" 54w t5's on each what would be good dali ballast to replace the 430's seeing how icecap dont want to work on the dimming stuff lol

Thanks for the fast reply but just to make sure this will work with the profilux when the dali adapter is released aswell as any dali ballast i am guessing? also where is a good place to get these in NA
