any old black osc?

yeah most likely they are juvs. the only time ive seen adult ones are from a person taking down a system, ie that brings it to a petstore etc..

if you ever see a pair , where the female is almost double in size, that its likely a pair. ill incre the fee to 100$ if its a true mated pair.

they are juveniles. not mated. bonded just means they get along..which is a word lfs use to sell the clowns for more.

no fish store sells true mated black osc , unless its brought in by a customer tearing down a tank. thats why i do not bother inquiring thru lfs.

also, note, they all have orange noses. a clear sign they are juvs.

tks though for looking.

seriously though. if you do find me an adult3-4+ years/mated pair with proven eggs. i would be more than happy to send a check :)

tks, if you can find someone tearing down a tank locally or online. and let me know. if i end up getting the pair. ill pay you the fee asap :)

WOW 150 finders fee.........I just bought a pair the female is 4 inches and the male is about 3.......I will be putting them in my 300 with a GSM. If they fight you are more then welcome to them. BILL

For what he is asking thats fair. Nobody is going to sell a breeding pair of Clowns. He is right he will have to find someone getting out of the hobby. I have been looking for 2 years. Most FS call there paired clowns mated. But they only mean they have paired a male and a female. A mating pair of clowns would be awesome.

Well the person I am getting them from told me they laid eggs for the person he got them from. So I assume they are a mated pair. I am just concerned about adding them to the tank with the LARGE Gold Stripe Maroon........Not sure what to do.....

RB

your tank is big enough. so they shoudl be fine. you might also want to introduce them at night.. gives them a chance to find an area. hopefully you have a bta.

Hi Huey i sent you a PM. I do have an area the GSM stays that has a LARGE GBTA then on the opposite end of the tank I have a smaller RBTA. I was hoping the Black Ocellaris would stay near the rose.
