Any one board and want to come over.

Here is what I got so far.

Here is the Cold air retun on the floor where I'm sending the Pipes through the floor.

Looks fine so far. What are you unsure about?

If you're not planning on glueing the flex to the 3" then at least wrap it with Teflon tape for a snug fit.

I plan on gluing it once I have everything In place. Right now it so hard to get in the pipe I was afraid I would have it stuck.

I really don't like how it comes out of the floor Would really like to put a 90° on each pipe so it comes across the floor in stead of shooting up in the air. Does that make since if so do you think it would work?

I was also thinking of up sizing the pipe once I bring it level with the sump to a 4" Pipe with a air vent in it so at least some air can escape VS shoving the Air in the sump causing a Big GULP and SPLASH

When you put primer and glue on the flex it should slide in easier.

I don't see a problem with putting a 90 on there to make it run across the floor. The worst that could happen would be that it reduces your flow slightly.

Going to a 4" could be a good thing to try. It could certainly cause no harm.

the only thing I see that I would change is to move the 3 inch pipe below the elect. outlets.

good point!

Don't the bulkheads create a seal AROUND the vent? If so, wouldn't the saltwater corrode the parts that are exposed inside the bulkhead?

I could always come over and help you get purple all over the place! Good thing my plumbing isn't for show!

The flex runs through a hole in the return. There are no bulkheads attached to it.

Yeah Very good Point and dumb planning on my part. If I move the 3" pipe below the Switch and plug I then Have the 2 - 2" pipes in front of the plug, and switch. Guess I should have did the plumbing first

Okay I get it... :D The Bulkheads you see are attached to my tank not the vent.. I was just showing all the pic's of plumbing I have done so far.

Oh, okay. I saw the picture below the caption "coming out of the bulkheads" and guessed that you ran it through the duct, drilled through and put a bulkhead to seal the duct.

don't know much about plumbing but you got my number if you need anything, also when you make your switch from other tank i got a weeks vacation that i'm taking november 4th thru 11th so if you need help give me a call i'll bring the pizza.
