I have heard alot about this corals but never was able to see a pic of it. I think the lineage goes to Jose Casas but am not sure.

Any one has a photos of the beauty ?

This is a super slow grower so not many folks have it. Mine used to be good sized but then it just got fragged and fragged and fragged and fragged..................

wow thats an amazing piece you got rtbm. How much did you pay for it ?
I read some where on the net the the body is metalic blue. But that does not seem to be in your photo?

Believe me when I say that I tried google many many times but never could found a decent photo like the one submitted by rtbm. I always hear that not many ppl have it and I wonder why is that.

one of the reasons for sure is that it's a really slow grower. Unfortunately There just isn't much of it to go around.

It is a very slow grower for me and every one else I talk to that has had it or has it.I really didn't pass it around at the time. I had that piece in captivity for 4 years before i distributed some around to several reefers across the United States. The reason I said google is because when I received your pm I googled it and found people that were asking about or have it and wanted more info on it. I have a friend in Idaho and his name is marty has a really nice size colony and has had it thriving for 4-5 yrs now in his 300 gal system. I know he is on another forum and doesn't visit here often though and he might be able to post a pix.
