I am in the market for a DSLR and online reviews rate this camera fairly good, but I am wondering if anyone here has used it to take pics of their corals and do they look good?
I bought one last Christmas from the photo store I have been going to for 20 years. I believe they give me an unbiased opinion. This is my first DSLR, so I am really a novice at digital. Both the Cannon and Nikon guys at the store agreed that it was my best choice at the time for me. I have been very happy with it so far. Still learning the camera though.
I have the E-1 and the E-500. I have enjoyed both. My husband prefers the E-500 over my E-1.
I think it is the best deal going and has very nice kit lenses. I have also been very impressed with the 35mm macro. Very sharp and a true 1:1 I love the 50mm macro and have used it often.
Sigma is about to releas a 105 2.8 macro and a 150mm 2.8 macro. I am not sure which one I will get, but one of them for sure!
