I don't think I want to deal with acrylic.

Not to mention I'd have to fab a stand and canopy. Unfortunately, I don't think an in-wall system will work in this house.

I have a 70 gallon now. I've been wanting at least a 125 up to 150 gallon. My problem has been finding one that is reef ready. Also, it will be right in my living space and I've had trouble finding one with a nice furniture grade stand and canopy. I've been seriously considering one from 4fishtanks.com, also known as aquavim, but they are really deep tanks and although they get great reviews there is still little information about them online. Let me know what you have guys. I really have the bug bad.

yes definitely hold out for one that is RR too. many can contribute to having a RR vs. a non RR tank. the difference is outstanding.

I have a 300 gallon for $3000. Its all glass has stand canopy, t-5s, sump, uv sterilizer, built in dual overflow, also has fish and sand.
