Any opinions on the new A/B Oceanlight w/T5?

Hi Jeremy,

I was trying to find out a little bit more about the 36" dual 150w with T5 A/B Oceanlight that you have on your website.

I run a pair of 250w SE XM moguls with Ice Cap electronics and a pair of 110w URI actinics with a Ice Cap 660 ballast on a standard 4'x2'x2' 120g tank now and am perfectly happy with the color and intensity.
I was looking into the dual 150w to place over a 102g tank that I will be setting up. The tank measures 38.5"x25"x24" and I was hoping to set up some lighting that did not draw as much energy as my present setup.
Will I be totally disappointed with the dual 150 watters in terms of intensity vs my 250w setup?
Do you even think I can use 150 watters in a 24" deep tank for SPS corals?
I was also considering the 36" Tek T5 with a 6 bulb configuration, other than going with dual 250 watters, in your opinion, which of the above two lights would give me the best lighting option?

Thanks.

I think with a 24" deep tank you'll be best off if you stick with 250's. I think that you'll be underpowered for SPS in the bottom of the tank if you chose the 150's. The ocean lights are a German designed light produced in China. The quality seems to be very high, and we've had very few problems with the ocean light series.

Thanks Jay.

Any consideration for the Tek T5 6 bulb configuration?

Trying to avoid dual 250 watters if possible.
