Any other way to level a tank w/o having to lift and insert shims?

Ok I found an old pic of the tank when it was first moved into the room. As you guys can see from the pic the stand has two parts. There's a platform on the bottom portion of the stand, and it cradles the top section of the tank where the legs are. Think of the two parts as lego pieces that fit together.

So the right front corner is the issue at hand. It's the right front from standing in front of the tank.

Hope the helps. I might try forcing a shim underneath the stand before I drain the water from it. That will save me a lot of work/time.

Is the bottom platform just a "skirt" for the legs, meaning can it be removed? If so that would make jacking it easier.

it might not be the nicest on your floors, you if you got some long metal wedges you might be able to get the under the stand with a hammer. Make sure they have a shallow angle to them. Use a several to get it to the level you want and insert some shims to hold it permanetly.

If it was me, I'd most likely go at it with a good sized prybar, about 5' with a sharpened and widened end.

It looks that the stand is open to the back, would it be possible (I can't tell how the stand is built) to rig something through the stand with some vertical 2x6's and a couple of floor jacks? lifting just under the tank on one side?

Do yourself the favor... Figure out how much you are off level. Get the shims ready. With the water about 1/2 drained use a heavy duty pry bar or wrecking bar and slowly little by little slide in temporary small shims in layers close to the area that need shimming. Build it up a touch past what you need. Easily slide in the permanent shims. Now all you do is slowy pry the corner up again and remove the temporary shims. If two corners need lifting do it a little at a time on each corner . DO NOT JACK only one corner if more than ones needs shims.
This is the best way to shim without any room for error.
I have done this for people many times. Usually most people level the tank and after filling realize the floor had a soft spot and a corner sinks...

This is WHY i love my Concrete Slab houses. Put the level on the floor if it is not level put some thin set on it level it out and your DONE.

Bottom platform is not a skirt. It's actually a full platform.

Yes the 2 x 4 through the middle with floor jack might work as well. That will be the second thing that I try if the chisel/flat screw/wedges doesn't work. BUT what I worry about is the integrity of the stand itself if I'm trying to lift the stand like this. All the pressure will be at the top of the stand (remember the stand is still quite heavy and I have a sump that can't be removed because of the plumbing), and I wonder if the glue/screws will loosen if I jack it up too much.

I'm probably going to take out half the water from the tank first and attempt, it'll be a good water change anyway since the tank is still cycling. I'll probably also move the rocks/sand over to the other side of the tank so the side that need shims will be a tad lighter.

I'm glad I posted this question on here.....so many great advices! :D
