i know some of us use krylon fusion on pvc and from time to time it touches water.

My question is this. I picked up a leemar with blue backing painted on and as it happens, the center overflow is also blue. I am slowly goin to razor the back paint off. What can I do about the overflow? i want it to be black.

Can I use krylon fusion on acrylic overflow that goes in the tank?
Is it reef safe? and will it stick to acrylic? Is there a better alternative other than buying a new overflow thats exactly the same?

Thanks!

You will be fine using krylon fusion. Many people have used it safely without any problems. Do a search on it and you will see.

I krylond overflows in my last tank. I did experience some loss of paint when i scraped the pvc a couple times. That part suk'd but it never caused an issue with the tank.

I've used Krylon Fusion in my FW and SW tanks without issue for years. Now if only somewhere other than Wally World would sell Fusion I'd be a totally happy camper.
