Any peaceful damsels

they are pretty well mannered. I have found the yellowtails to not be that bad myself. I have had good luck with blue-green chromis's. I have also heard good things about the Tailbots damsel (not sure I am spelling it right). You will probably hear lots of people put these fish down. I personally like damsels a lot as I think they are very well suited for captivity and are interesting. They all have some aggressive tendancies of some form or another.

Hands down, the Azure. Grest little fish. I've had mine for the last three years. Never an issue. Very attractive as well.

James, are the talbots damsels you mentioned a half purple/half yellow, almost like a royal gramma? We used to have some, and I swore for the life of me they were name Talbot damsels. But when I look them up, I get these little mono-colored ones with a spot on there back.

Anyone else know what I'm talking about? They were great, almost like a tang, just had to get used to the newcomer and then they were fine.

The Azure (C. hemicyanea), Yellowtail (C. parasema) and the Talbots (C. talboti) are three of the most peacefull and stay pretty small.
I added 5 Azure Damsels 2 months ago and have had no issues with any of the other fish thus far. Some of their tankmates include; Orchid dottyback, Lubbocks fairy wrasse, Chalk bass, Percula clowns and Dwarf angels.

Aquaknight, the only fish I can think of that looks like a royal gramma is a bicolor pseudochromis. Even though it has "chromis" in it's name I don't believe it is related to damsels.

I have a Yellowtail that isn't aggressive.

The Talbots have a yellow head and purple body. The purple is very light to the point of being pale and they do have a spot on the dorsal.
When I got my Azure's the LFS had some Talbots also and it was hard deciding between the two. I choose the Azure's based on color, they are much brighter and it suited my tank better.

I've had my Azure for about 8 months. Never had a problem with him. Occationally my Flame Angel will chase him, but just for a second.
