Any recommendations for a top/off system???

Just put in my new NEP 150w and experiancing alot of evaporation.

Any suggestions besides carrying water back and forth.

Tunze Osmolator...or JBJ ATO, but not really close in comparison, one is a top of the line ATO the other is a middle of the road ATO, both can get the job done.

Obviously I would need a sump tank to run a top/off any suggestions. At a working man's price of course.

What kind of tank do you have? Aquapod?
They have a small sump in the back chambers, but not sure you they have room for the ATO float sensors, like my Solana does.

Have you gone to an Aquapod thread and asked around there to see what other Aquapod owners are doing for ATO? You might get better answers there...seeing what other owners are doing.

I should add, I run my ATO using an Aqualifter pump on a timer and Tupperware container for the water. Basically, $50-ATO, $25-Autolifter, $10-Tupperware. $12-timer

What is your budget. FWIW the tunze is so expensive because it comes with a pump. However, the pump is not suitable for kalkwasser. This reason steered me away from the Tunze. I have used float switches in the past with great success and currently use a jbj ato and have no complaints about it. You do also have to buy an additional pump so take that into consideration as well.

Wouldn't the Tom Aqualifter be a good choice of pump for the ATO/Doser in this case? Which is really inexpensive? $13-$15 tops? Or is that not a good choice for dosing? I think its popular in the ATO and Dosing cases because it pumps really slow?

JBJ and aqua lifer pump...I run it without a sump.
Keeps my sg perfect.
