You should also save the date for this year's FFM. You will meet reefers from all over CT and the rest of the northeast. I'll put the info up here in a bit but it is already up in the CTARS forum.

Check out the reef forum threads, go to the bottom of the main forum page and it will list local club forums.

There are two clubs in CT:

ARK - Aquarium Reef Keepers of Southwestern CT
CTARS - Connecticut Area Reef Society

ARK is a little less formal than CTARS, but a great bunch of guys/gals and hold great meetings

CTARS - Is a little more formal, they are a not for profit organization that holds monthly meetings, raffles, frags and dry goods. They also hold an annual conference each year, the club is run by board of directors elected by its members. Currrent membership is around 150. The last few meetings we have raffled off items such as a Vortech MP-10wES, two actinic LED DIY's from Rapid LED and last meeting was an Ecotech Radion Gen2. You will also notice that the CTARS forum is one of the most active on Reef Central.

Also, make sure to check out the Frag Farmers Market, you will see there is alot of reef junkies around.
