I wish I could use it, but it's for my MRC kalk reactor. I think the mag 5 might be too much.

Did you ever get your Aquapod running? LMK if you need some heads of LPS or anything... I owe you.

You can always crank it down with a ball valve if you want to give it a shot... Mag 2's seem to be pretty rare.

I am modding the aquapod with additional PC's and the parts just came in... 3x32's running on an external Workhorse 5. Hopefully this weekend I'll have some time to work on it.

I've had two brand new mag 2's and a (not new) mag 3 that I haven't been able to get to work externally without leaking.

I sent both of the 2's back and ended up getting a 300gph quiet one 1200 instead. I've been using it for about two months on my calcium reactor and am still happy with it.

I'd offer you the mag 3, but a) it leaks, b) it's loud, so it probably needs a new impeller, c) it is currently circulating water for my UV and Phos reactor, but it probably will be getting swapped for another QO1200 soon.

The one that came with my kalk reactor is leaking from the impeller cover. I've tried to reseat it a few times, but it's not working. Maybe it's just a bad gasket? I would sure hope they don't all leak, or Andy at MRC should stop using them.
