any special glue for Spa Flex?

I read that too (about the primer and spaflex) but I could never find WHERE I read it. I know I read it about halfway through doing my plumbing, so some of it has primer and some of it does not. We'll see if there's a difference!

I used WeldOn 795 and PVC cleaner, not primer. Somewhere I read not to use it.

So far so good.

I've used the regular stuff, the stuff made for spa flex, and the "all weather" blue stuff.

They will all work....my best result came with the glue made for the stuff- purchased from SAVKO.
my least favorite is the blue.
And, in the last reincarnation, of my plumbing I just used the regular stuff because time and money were getting tight.

At first, I couldn't get the regular glue to hold, and kept having leaks and the fittings would pull out.
After several mishaps, here are the things I've learned - primer both sides, use a liberal amount
of glue on both sides, fit them together, hold for about minute,
then let it cure for a day before using it.

It has been up and running since last christmas, no major mishaps
