Looking for the right artist to help me on the design. The basic idea is to have a abstraction of some of the different fish and invertabrae patterns weaving in and out and blended together

A reef fish and invertabrae skin mosaic as an armband.. some of the animals i was thinking of would be the sixline wrasse, pom pom crab, emperor angel, mandarin, skunk cleaner shrimp, camel shrimp, ocellaris clownfish of course... scottish lobster... etc etc.

I'm not a bad sketcher, and also have a clear picture of it in my mind, I just need the right collaboration to make this silly idea work!

Call Craig Murphy at Skin Of A Different Color in Aurora. 630.851.9936. He has been doing mine and my wife's Tats since 1996. He actually helped me design my reef inspired tribute to my Father who passed in 06'. Tell him Todd sent you.

My wife and I are planning to go to the CMAS party tonight. Would be happy to show you some of his work in person if you plan to attend. I just finished a very large piece a few weeks back actually. Something we have been working on for 4 years now.

It's none of my business, but don't. Unless you're the person that does anything somebody tells you to do, in that case do.

dope - what do you mean?

yes - i've heard good things about Mr. Wahh - he seems to have a fairly intricate and psychedelic style that I was looking for.

I'm looking to give up the entire up half of my bicep/deltoid (not very big biceps though)

Because it's a hobby and you'll most likely fall the same way we all one day will and quit. It's only a matter of time

ONLY if its Craig! Also be prepared to pay for the artwork and remember with ink you get what you pay for usually except me, I'm lucky.

Craig is the only one that works on me. He does not charge for artwork....well I have never paid for him assisting me with mine anyway.

He has some really good artists in the shop now. He is apprenticing a young female that has done some really nice work that I had the privilege of viewing.

Guy and Craig go back a bit for those that mentioned Guy. I may be wrong, but I think Hannah worked out of Craig's shop some years back??? I am not 100%, but for some reason that sticks out to me.

In either case, make sure the piece you decide to do is something you can live with for the rest of your life. With the detail you are looking to get, it would be a very difficult cover up if you grow to dislike it in years to come.
