Any tips for fast moving fish?

As stated, I was just curious if you might have any tips for capturing a quality photo of those fast moving fish. I have a clown that's not too fast, but she never stops moving, ever.

Thanks

I have a wrasse that is constantly darting around all over the please and on him I use a shutter speed of at least 1/250s at f2.8 or else he comes out blurry

Make your shutter faster and then put your camrea on the A if you have that setting and showd come out better. Hope it helps

Study the fish swim patterns. There are places where it will consistently stop, turn, pause. Set up there and capture the shots when the fish appears. Chasing them up and down the tank at full swim speeds will usually just result in you having a headache.

High speed like 1/250, high ISO 800 or more. I use the "S" setting where you set speed and the camera adjust the aperture.

Another very important thing is take "a lot" of photos. One of every 20 will be sharp and in focus.

This was shot at 1/80 sec. ISO 1600
