any tips in keeping hippocampus comes aka tiger tail?

True captive bred H. comes are fairly hardy. There are a lot on the market that are 'tank raised', which is not captive bred. Requirements are similar to other species..... 29 gal tank minimum for a pair. Keep temps in the low 70's.

Tell us about your tank and we can offer suggestions.

The seahorses will eat the sexy shrimp. Even if they are too large to eat the horses may break their backs and suck the tail meat out like a person eats a lobster tail.

If the tigertails are captive bred they should do fine. The wild caught ones are very hard to keep long term.

Ora now breeds true CBB h.comes so check with your lfs and see if they can order some for you.

I'm setting my tanks back up soon and have some planned in the future as well.
