Any1 can beat this bloody RED zoo?

Superfishy, if they look like that, I approves your red :D But it look more orange than red ;)

Did anyone noticed that some of the zoo size is smaller and some are bigger? The colony I posted of mine is much smaller than the rest of my other zoos. Maybe a little different species?

looks like a photochop job, got any other shots, w/wo flash?

 I'm sure you weren't the only one thinking that. They look just like the ones I posted if you turn down the saturation.

One note about accusing of photochopping. Some digital camera's can make the pictures look like that all by themselves. Although IMO it's not an accurate representation of that zoa, doesn't necessarily mean he chopped it. :)

tell us about your lights and camera!

My lighting are 2 250w 10k and 2 URI VHO. Before I had them, they were under 20k and I think they look much more redder and glowing than in my 10k lighting.

Picture were taken with Nikon D70s with macro lens.

I don't think those are photochopped. People with nice zoas are too proud to do that :)

I know the CVR guys have nice stuff!

Well, the only way to solve this matter is to have an independant auditor inspect the polyps for color authentication. Since I am an official color auditor, I will volunteer my time to help get to the bottom of this matter.;)

Karen, you can, but that means you have to hang in my bat cave.:)

Since when do we ever know the true color of any coral :D.. I bet its look different in the sea..

I guess we just like deep colorful coral, and to obtain that we applied science to them and make them look what we want them to look..

You mean these ?

naa.. they are not even remotely red :D Just orange and white..

Yes, sweet indeed.
I will need to examine some of those as well. In fact, all of you with suspiciously colorful zoas should send me fragments so I can test their authenticity.
Your brother in arms,
Sir Zooey Zoo
