Anybody else using Melev's mandarin diner

I am noticing my mandarain getting a bit thin so I wanted to try out
Melev's mandarin diner

Seems the only things that are finding it are my snails and hermits
Anybody know of a way to keep those guys out of there?

I haven't tried it, but it looks like a great idea.

I haven't tried it yet, but I think my Centropyge argi would clean it out before my mandarin even realized I had put it in there, lol.
