Long story short...

My work is remodeling our building and our old server room was disassembled. It was basically a big glass room. So we have a ton of large panes of this glass...shatter-resistant and tinted. I figured if it could be used to build a sump or something, I would grab some. However, Im unsure if this could be used because it has a thin covering of plastic bonded to both sides of the glass (hence it being shatter proof)...not sure if silicone would cut it or weldon for that matter.

Anybody ever build something with this type of glass?

TIA
