Anybody have a Canon 5d mark II?

What's your budget and how much magnification do you want? What kind of close focusing do you need? 6 inches, a foot, or 2 feet?

Several people on here have that camera. That said, I think that most people agree that the best Macro lens for a Canon is the 100mm f/2.8 macro lens.

My current lenses are...EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM and EF
24-105mm f/4L IS USM. I would say I need a foot or less. I will look into the EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM.

The only macro lens I now own is the 180L due to the increased working distance of the 2 feet minimum focus. I would almost recommend the 90ts plus extension tubes or teleconverter for reef photos to maximize the focus area.

I also had the 50 macro, great lens for under $200! I hardly used my 100 macro and it was the first to go when I cleaned out my lens closet. :D

The shot on my homepage was done with the 90TS.
