when i start to plumb the tank, i will need to cut the lip of the plastic frame in a few places for a few pieces of pvc to fit flush w/ the glass. wondering if somebody has a dremel i might borrow??

harbor freight has one for $10 or an arbor for the cut-off wheels for a few bucks that i could use in my cordless drill. i just hate to buy something i have 1 simple use for......

Hey James, Rhett has one I believe shoot him a message to confirm! How goes the build? My Octo DNW200 would go good on your new tank, NO? Talk at ya later, Bill

build is going slow....but still going LOL

i saw that skimmer....nice

if i hadn't already bought the asm g1x & pump, i'd probably snatch it up from ya :(

thanks for the offers, but everybody is so far away :( LOL

i need to get a step drill bit tomorrow from harbor freight, so i saw they had a 3-pack of wheels & an arbor for $5. since i only need to make 3 or 4 cuts, i'll just get that & use the cordless

brandon, having one is on my list of must-have tools, but currently don't have the storage space to keep a bunch of tools i hardly ever use :p

but where does it stop??? i'm the same way w/ some old books & magazines that dont take up much space....yet there they are in a tote that i can barely lift in the corner of my closet & haven't been taken out in 3 moves

LOL

well i went to harbor freight today to get the step drills & an arbor & cutoff wheels.....which they were out of :mad2:

so thanks to that (& maybe partly brandon's brow-beating LOL), i went ahead & bought a dremel-ish tool w/ carrying case & bunch of attachments....it was on sale for $14.99

thanks to all that offered to lend, but seeing as most everybody was 15-20 minutes one way, i figured i'd just have one of my own LOL
