Anybody have an old strip light for sale?

I'm setting up a QT tank, 20 G and 24" long, and I need a light for it. It doesn't need to be the best reef-tank-quality light, since this will usually only be for fish. Does anybody have an old fluorescent light that they might want to get rid of cheap?

Ok, I have a 30" Perfecto 20w NO flourescent light. A bit bigger than what you wanted. The only thing I have that's 24" is a Coralife PC fixture.

Hmm, why don't you PM with what you're asking for those. Even though it's overkill, I might be interested in the PC fixture. I'll look at my space and see if the 30" would work hanging over - I'm just afraid offhand it's where I'll knock it off all the time. Thanks for checking!

Scott, I got ya covered, at least I think so. I have enough stuff to make something work.

I have a hood I can fit either PC or VHO tubes in. Just let me know what you want. Its a CSL hood with a fan. I just need to put ballasts in it. It has moon lights but I am not sure they work.

It is a 24" fixture and I have mounting legs for it somewhere.

Let me know what you want. All I ask is for a few frags that I don't have! We can work out all the details whenever.
