First of all I want say thanks to all who've supported me for the past year about the situation with my mom. Those of you who who follow me closely know the reason behind the lack of videos, but for those who don't, sad to report my mom has been battling recurring cancer for the past year. The situation has gone from bad to worst and unfortunately, I found out in may that the doctors are saying she has about 6 months to live. My heart has been hurting nonstop ever since. To see my mom decline like this for the past year has been devastating.

I am truly sorry for the lack of videos but I hope you all can understand. I am still around answering questions about the hobby on my YouTube Channel, my website, and on my Facebook Fan Page, and will return to making videos once I start feeling better emotionally. God only knows that situations like this can knock the energy right out of you.

Please do not give up on me and know that I am still here. I have not given up, just hurting deeply right now. Miracles can and do happen and I am hopeful that maybe, just maybe, the lord up above will allow her to recover. If not, then maybe the lord is calling on her and I will hopefully one day get to see her again in heaven someday. She is the most amazing women I know.

Wow!! Didn't expect this at all. Hey newyorksteelo I'm so glad you responded I can't help but YouTube ....... Newyorksteelo whenever I have a question about something. You seriously have helped me out so much in this hobby. In fact my whole sump/refugium is based on your video you posted. I'm really sorry to hear about your mom I hope she gets well. Just know that your videos help a lot of us out. Just the other day I ran into a complete stranger at lfs and he was talking about you. Good luck man

Wow that is tough, my prayers go out to your mother. Hopefully she will recover and live much longer! God can do amazing things, keep your head up. Thanks for all your videos man, you're actually the reason I'm in the hobby. I remember somehow ending up on one of your videos and being amazed by your tank and how everything works. Couple months later and here I am at 20 years old setting up my first tank, now I'm done with that and have my 100 gallon sps reef lol. You really help a lot of people out, more than you know. Stay strong bro!
